This module is an introduction to marketing. By the end of the module you will have a knowledge of the role of marketing within organisations and within society, and of the principles of marketing management.

For the portfolio assessment you will produce a written deconstruction of one existing piece of writing. You will also do an oral presentation basis on that deconstruction which will be a formative assessment.

You will be provided with one piece of content from which you will be required to produce different pieces of writing for different formats and audiences. Each written element of the portfolio assessment will be given a separate weighting that accumulate to 100 percent.
